Take a 2008 full body picture (you can put this in an album), weigh yourself, take your measurements (a tape measure only cost $1.00 or somewhere around there at wal-mart).
Rules (everyone loves rules):
- BE HONEST!!!! I personally feel like you are only hurting yourself if you are not being honest. I feel like I weigh a ton but I will be honest about how much I weigh, eat, and workout.
- Post your weight loss goal; more importantly post why you want to lose weight.
- Workout at least three times a week. Even if it’s 30 minutes a day, something is better than nothing.
- Increase your water intake!
- Check in once a week here!!! Post your updates, weight loss, mess-ups; whatever post it ladies!
See that wasn’t so bad as far as rules. I tried to make it as simple as possible so our goals are easy to achieve.
Here’s some help!!
- Eat smaller portions of your meals.
- Breakfast, lunch, dinner… if you are like me sometimes your too busy to eat three meals a day, NOT GOOD!! If you aren’t eating your body goes into survival mode.
- Snack Time doesn’t have to consist of unhealthy foods, I have found that something as simple as grapes or celery actually cures my sweet tooth.
- Find a workout routine that fits you, we all know everything is not for everybody.
- Start off small 2 pounds a week is perfect
- Keep a food journal
- Do not skip a meal. Eat a little a lot. Frequency is such so that you stop feeling hungry.
- Your weight loss will be reached. If your body goes into starvation mode, then it will begin lowering your metabolism to adjust to the reduced intake.
- No eating 3 hours before bedtime. That’s just one bad habit that must go.
We can start by filling out these simple questions:
1. What do I want to accomplish by losing weight? Be healthy and be able to be more active with my son.
2. What is my short term goal? 50 lbs
3. What is my long term goal? 100 lbs
4. Is my goals realistic and attainable? Yes
5. Who will benefit from me losing weight? Me and my family, especially my son...
6. When do I want to reach my goal? My short term goal I would like to reach by my birthday in June. My long term goal I would like to reach by graduation in 2010 (MAY)
7. How will I reward myself when I reach my goal? SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!
